Pastor Edward Thrasher

Executive Director

Edward L. Thrasher, visionary and founder of Focus Point Children Academy, received a God-given vision more than a decade ago to establish a daycare within the church. Trusting in the Lord’s timing, direction, and provision, he faithfully carried this vision in prayer.

Through God’s divine guidance, abundant favor, and the support of many dedicated individuals, the vision placed in his heart became a reality: a preschool. To God be the glory for the great things He has done.

Pastor Thrasher was educated in the Chattanooga City School System and pursued studies at Chattanooga State College and DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a builder, investor, and the owner of ABBA Builders.

In addition to his entrepreneurial work, he currently serves as Vice President of the Servant Leadership Pastoral Organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and as a member of the Blood Assurance Board of Directors.

He is deeply passionate about ministering the Word of God and is committed to fostering unity by bringing together people of all religious backgrounds in worship. Pastor Thrasher is a sincere and dedicated servant of God, known for his compassion, care, and visionary leadership, with a heart to lead God’s people to higher heights.

He is the proud father of three children and the loving grandfather of three beautiful granddaughters.
